Each sunset is identified with the day that is leaving - but also with the night that is coming. This sense of the ephemeral, of time passing, of the punctual succession of hours, days, the uninterrupted flow of time, leaves its own stamp on the evening palette. Something ends, something begins. Everything ends and everything begins again, as the sun continues its eternal journey from the east to the west and back to the east.

From the darkest colors, where the sun's beneficial rays no longer reach, to deep red, still warm orange, pink and grey-blue, the sunset painter does not skimp on his brushstrokes.

He generously touches his colors on the canvas of the sky and leaves us mesmerized by his inspiration.
